EPILOGUE

Two years later, Andy's wish is granted. Brett is in prison with the Skin on the wall. Larry is in the cell next door. Larry pleads with Brett to use it to free them, but Brett, knowing that making a wish will kill him, refuses. Arthur and Christopher are preparing for a new concert at Roxy. The Dealer and Olympia get dressed in order to attend. As Andy predicted, everything in the Curiosity Shop has been sold, and they live there now. As the Crowd swells on the New York High Line, Rose sits alone in her opera box. Her Vanity Meter has flat lined. Pauline arrives with her two-year-old son outside the Academy of Sciences. She is pushing a stroller and is already pregnant again. Andy is giving his inaugural lecture as the new Professor of Algorithms. He arrives with Prof Shih when it is over and greets Pauline happily. As they walk down the sidewalk, Pauline pushes the stroller forward. "Catch me, catch me if you can," she teases Andy. "Pauline, you'll be the death of me," he replies, and runs after her. “I don’t think so,” she laughs, and speeds up. The new Roxy concert begins.
